Now I know that there is very great controversy behind this! Are you Team Gale or Peeta? In honor of "The Week of Hunger Games" I ask you, are you team Peeta or Gale? You can either comment(yes,  I love comments!) or vote on the poll! There is such great controversy behind this that it split up my soccer team! One practice my soccer team got into a discussion about whether you were on Team Peeta or Gale that my coach banned the words, so then we started to use code words! It then just got to be we split into teams and scrimmaged it out! I am very proud to say that team Gale won! There are very equal pros and cons to the side and I am holding back my opinions becuase I would like to start an open-minded discussion what do you think? Gale or Peeta, peeta or Gale? Did you approve with how Suzanne Collins ended the series or how she portrayed one of the guys? Let it out! What about the actors cast?

Looking forward to the discussion! In honor of Hunger games week I am publishing every day leading up to Saturday and on Saturday will put out a post on THE MOVIE!!!!!!! Talk to you soon!                    -Addy

Now if you have read cinder (my new favorite book!) you know how great it is! But if you haven't here is a
summary from goodreads.com.
Humans and androids crowd the raucous streets of New Beijing. A deadly plague ravages the population. From space, a ruthless lunar people watch, waiting to make their move. No one knows that Earth's fate hinges on one girl...

Cinder, a gifted mechanic, is a cyborg. She's a second-class citizen with a mysterious past, reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her stepsister's illness. But when her life becomes intertwined with the handsome Prince Kai's, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an intergalactic struggle, and a forbidden attraction.
Caught between duty and freedom, loyalty and betrayal, she must uncover secrets about her past in order to protect her world's future.

Cinder is a very unordinary read but oh so good! Based on Cinderella with a sci-fi twist cinder is such a page-turner and action packed book, but not too much! Cinder has 387 pages but it never felt like a burden to read and i finished it in about a week! so for my recent book report i couldn't ask for a better book to appear into my hands! Here is my book report project! Enjoy and(http://www.grahamholdbrook.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/please-leave-comment1.jpg)

Favorites...LIST #1

Okay!! It's been awhile(: I am a list-making type of person. When I was younger I used to make "excited" lists about what I was excited about:-) Nowadays its more of to-do lists! I have decided to come out with my favorite things lists edition for my blog:) Enjoy!
So, I'm very sure that we all have our Hot and cold, love and hate or salt and pepper TV shows...BUT today I am going to share with you my top 6 TV shows and you can probably tell more about me after reading this post(: Hopefully you find that after reading about my shows you will feel the need to comment about your favorite shows! Enjoy!

#6: This may sound a little odd for an eleven year old to be saying but my #6 favorite show is...
Now, I will usually write a little summary of what the show is about, but for the this one the title pretty much tells ya all there is to know! Ya know?! Why ABC you say?! Lets just say that my Tv never really leaves channel 9 :-D

#5: For good ol' number 5 we have...wait for it..

I absolutely LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE this GMA(yes I also love u too, Gma!!) but, GMA is what motivates me to get up in the morning! It must be pretty motivational because I,( now if you know me, I LOVE MY SLEEP!!!!!!) got up at 4am this Summer to actually get to GO to GMA!!! Here's proof:

#4: For #4 we have...
I mean, what teen in America DOESN'T like Glee?!?! Not even that what female adult?! Ill be curious to see how far it goes though...I think that it would be cool to have these kids graduate and new kids come in. I think thats whats going to have to happen! I am very annoyed that the whole rachel and Finn thing is STILL going on after what, like 3 seasons!!! **SPOILER*** Last night Finn proposed to Rachel so we'll see what happens!

#3:   CASTLE
Like I said before, our tv pretty much never leaves abc so this fits that! My favorite type of TV show police/detective or homicide...Richard Castle is a writer working with the NYC police force!! Love this show!!

#2: If i hadnt discovered my number 1, then Cake Boss would definitely be #1!!! I LOVE this show SO much!!! Especially Buddy's accent! I don't know why i would like a show about people making cakes but they make SO elaborate cakes and I just can't wait to see what they are going to make next!!!

#1: Okay, this is BY FAR my favorite show of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can we have a drumroll please?!?!

MONKObsessive. Complusive. Detective.

I discovered this show on Easter!! From then unitl about a week ago I watched 173 episodes of this show!! That is how good it is!! Adrian Monk has all sorts of issues:OCD and any kind of phobia that exists...including milk! But he has an eye for details that every other detective on the San Francisco Police Department misses while on importnat homicide cases! All I can say is GO OUT AND WATCH THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you, and have a GREAT day!!!!

FRIDAY THE 13TH!!!!!!!!!

Hello, this is Evelyn, and I am going to give you a spooky post. If you weren't aware, it is Friday the 13th. Today some of the 6th graders are taking the pre-algebra test. In fact they are taking it right on right now. If they all fail, we know why. And no, it's not just because they're dumb. Has anything rather... odd happened to you today? Today my pre-algebra teacher didn't show up. It turned out that we had a sub who thought the class started at 7:45. (It's a 7:30 class.) We haven't had any earthquakes (so far) and no medical emergencies (so far), knock on wood. Did anything happen to you?? Leave a comment of the unluckiest thing that happened to you today.

Christmas Countdown, Day 10, 17 days left

Wow!! It's already the 9th!! How many people have heard the song, We wish you a merry Christmas when they say
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding;
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding;
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding and a cup of good cheer

Well, two years ago I wanted to make a fancy dessert for Christmas and I ended up making Figgy Pudding...
12 plump dried Calymyrna figs, snipped into small pieces
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup dark rum
1/3 cup cognac or brandy
1/2 cup raisins
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 large eggs
1 (packed) cup brown sugar
2 cups fresh white bread crumbs (made from about 8 inches of baguette)
1 stick (4 ounces) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1 cup dried cherries
1 cup dried cranberries
1/3 cup brandy, cognac or rum, to flame the pudding (optional)

Well, actually I don't know why it's called pudding, it's actually more of a bread!! It requires SO many strange ingredients that it is really quite expensive and since it has spirits in it probably is not something you would make with a child in mind...however last year I made homemade donuts and "reindeer poop" and I can say that I liked those two things SOOO much better!!!  Have you guys ever tried any of those desserts? What is your favorite holiday dessert?
